Things that Go BUMP in my Mind

Knitting, stitching, reading, gardening, cooking--I have no time for any of it.

Memories .... (aka, "Attack of the Memes, Part II")

Some memes can be fun....

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often (or ever, for that matter), please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL MEMORY OF YOU AND ME.

It can be anything you want--good or bad--BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

And now you can consider yourself tagged, so go post this meme on your blog.

I remember when we walked over the Sydney bridge, you with your backpack and me with my walking stick. It was a hot, sunny day in December, and we went to a bar for several beers afterward.

We had such a great time when we got together for lunch when I was in Charlotte!

Oh wait... that's what should have happened. ;)

I remember when you talked me on riding that roller coaster and we got stuck at the very top for over 2 hours. Good thing you & I always have stitching in our bags or we would have had nothing to take our minds off a pretty durn stressful situation!

Yeah, I remember this one time at stitching camp.... when you were knitting and I was stitching and we ate chocolate all day!

Sorry my imagination must be on the fritz - this was the best I could come up with!

'Member how blown away everyone was when we pulled out our stitching while we were waiting for the Stones to come on at the Forum back in '75?

I will never forget the year you let me cry on your shoulder and fed me chocolate-covered lembas. Refusing Haldir's marriage proposal was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, but you were so right; I couldn't marry someone who did nothing but hang around in creepy forests and indirectly insulted dwarves. Thanks to you, I'm much better off where I am.:)

Just the other day I was thinking about when we shopped ourselves silly at that awesome yarn shop. Did you ever find a use for that lime green fuzzy yarn you bought? ;)

I was thinking about the time you and I had lunch together, and the waiter dropped the spaghetti all over me, and the water all over you, but you were wearing black and I was wearing red, and nobody really noticed.

Thanks for making time to meet up with me for lunch as I was headed north back in August! I'm glad DD got along with your boys!
